Fishing in the River Cam
Although there was another frost this morning, it looked like being a nice day so as we do not have any workman here this week, we decided to go to Cambridge. We had the usual coffee stops as well as lunch at Stazione. The service was slow and they blamed that on the cooking of the pasta, which they said takes twenty-five minutes. Gluten free pasta usually cooks very quickly and soon goes to “mush”. Eventually lunch arrived and also two free lattes to apologise for the time it took to serve us. I suspect that they had forgotten to cook my pasta, as it did not take very long when we went there last time. As we were given free coffee they were forgiven and we will go there again. Their gluten free pasta with tomato and mozzarella is better than Prezzo and Zizzi.
We purchased the few things that we needed and then walked around the backs, stopping at the University Centre for more coffee and cake before coming home. Today’s picture was taken near the causeway; a fisherman who did not appear to have caught anything.
