Lotus Seed Pod: Trypophobics, Look Away!

The last lotus on the lily pond was done blooming quite some time ago, but I still visit its seed pod when I go there. There is just something really cool about it. I think it's all those holes. I find them neat, orderly, and interesting.

I am aware that there is a phobia, called trypophobia, in which people have a fear of clustered holes. So some people may enjoy this photo, while others may fear it. For myself, I think I'll keep on watching all those oogly eyes, as they watch me back. . . .   ;-)
