How Do You Like, Your Eggs in the Morning

Mine?  I like mine with Potatoes, fried Chicken, Hollandaise Sauce and bacon.  Seriously!

No Fried Chicken, that was the rest of them - that is just potatoes, eggs, Hollandaise, greens, and biscuits.  (Scones).   The rest of them had sweet potato pancakes, fried chicken, and grilled Apple and god knows what else.

It was necessary to steel our stomachs for what was to come.    Asheville is full of Craft Brewers.  It is Si's idea of heaven. It's actually very, very lovely for anyone who likes (a) craft beer (b) live music (c) food (d) crafts (e) arts (f) weed (g) living like a hippy (h) dressing down .

I particularly like it for the dressing down.  You can wear absolutely bloody anything and you do not look out of place ever!  Even when you wear clashing clothes (TOOLIBELLE TAKE NOTE).    There are hippys here from the 60's and they have gotten old, wearing the same t-shirts.  There are 50 kids with day-glo blue hair.  There are people walking around in bare feet, and worn and ripped trousers.    There are people selling jewelry made from bike tyres, guitar strings, horse shoes.  There are book shops with nooks and crannies and first editions and signed originals.  There are Art Deco style shopping centres and believe it or not, the very first F W Woolworths Store.  Go figure that.

It's not, of course, a Woolworths any more.   - Like all the rest of them, it went by the wayside, but it still has it's orginal frontage - it looks exactly as F W Woolworth looked like in our town in 1969. UK.

We started drinking with flutes - in One World Brewing, then went to Wicked Weed, then to Green Man, then to Funkatorium, HiWire, and Ashville Brewing for Pizza, more beer and   did I mention the Curry Pizza???  And Also Haiwian with Coconut Crust.

Then a man from Exeter picked us up in an Uber and took us back to the house. How amazing is that.   He met a woman, married her and headed back to Asheville with her.    Tis a very small world.

Those kids can drink some.
