Sunrise, moonrise.
The chilly weather has certainly arrived. The ventilated roof we now have pipes and sometimes sounds like a didgeridoo when the wind blows hard from the north-east. Which it has been doing.
I woke early and waited for the sun to rise from behind the ridge of the Apennines.
Then work outside hoeing, stone picking, wood splitting and stacking.
I listened to Jeremy Corbyn's speech, and a fascinating 'In Our Time' on the BBC Radio iPlayer on circadian rhythms.
Collected more walnuts.
Feels cold tonight and then the harvest moon (extra) rose from behind the Apennine ridge - a bit further to the north than the sun.
A mini hurricane ('Medicane') is being forecast for Sicily and Greece over the next few days.
