Injured butterfly

My daughter’s rescued this injured butterfly today. We took it to our garden and gave it slices of apple as she was worried it wouldn’t survive around a busy footpath and main road that someone would walk on it.. It had a damaged wing and one missing back leg but it didn’t half revive itself when it spied the apple slices. It happily sucked away on it for ages
