Bupkiss Leads the Way

Tuesday is take a hike day and so me and H walked around the lake with our leader Bupkiss, the wonder dog. We parked the car quite a way down the hill out of the park so we could get our five miles in. The weather was clear and sunny with cool temperatures, perfect for walking. Of  course Bupkiss is out in front, always in sight, scouting the trail.  His feathery tail  signals the way and he greets all comers, canine and human alike, with a friendly welcome. As you can see in the blipfoto above, he even clears the trail so this blind guy doesn't trip on stuff. What a dog!
Afterward, we go to the Firehouse Coffee Shop for coffees and a scone or dog biscuit. A good afternoon, indeed.
