Tinted by the same brush
Where we have resettled some earth after excavations of the new corn storage barn, wild flowers have been planted. This is always a little tricky after the first year as they really like infertile land, but we may be lucky! The Knapweed and Yarrow have certainly taken as well as the moon daisies. I have also sprinkled a little cowslip seed from the plants in our lawn - they should grow as I think this is where they came from many years ago.
The family came for lunch, roast lamb, cabbage, parsnips and roast potatoes followed by apple crumble and ice cream.
