Belhaven Bay

Many years ago we called into John Muir’s Birthplace Museum at Dunbar on our way home from Tantallon. We didn’t have time to look around at the time and so said we’d be back. Today I went back and had a look around before starting out on The John Muir Way. Incredibly windy so there was some good surfing action. I chatted to some students from Glasgow university and was heartened to hear them say the sea was the coldest they’d known it for September.
