The Allies In Berlin exhibition (see extra) is in a far corner of Tegel Airport , fenced off & fascinating . Note opening times.
My visit there proved wonderful .Sitting outside drinking coffee whilst planes made their approach for landing it was ideal for someone who enjoys blipping metallic birds .The four allies are represented and some amazing vintage pieces mark their presence . Met some Dutch plane spotters and quite a few Germans  who  were discussing  the  undemocratic nature of Germany re the peoples vote on TXL
A place worth visiting if history is your thing , plus aircraft .
*Northerners  Take Note .
As from 2019-03-31 Easy Jet will be flying between M/C and TXL .Their M/C .SXL route will continue but this is good news .
