Nutcracker in September!

A busy day today! Hubby took this photo of me on my mobile phone, standing next to a life-size Nutcracker figure of the seasonal  Christmas ballet, by Tchaikovsky.  
I had gone to the chiropodist earlier this morning. Then we had a coffee on our usual walk. 
The coffee (Bistro) is situated at a local Arts and  Crafts complex which borders open countryside.
We sat outside in the warm sunshine and it was only 10.00 am.
     The little retail outlets there are preparing for Christmas!! 
It was bizarre as the lunchtime temperature reached 23C. Not bad for late September.
As we set off again on our way home, he took the photo. 
It was an absolutely beautiful day all round, from dawn to dusk.
