"Sitting Still, With That Gold Dagger Of Thy Bill"

I've broken my own rules. I don't usually like messy backgrounds or foregrounds. This image has both. Ollie dog and I could hear, "Dee diddly, dee diddly" in the blackthorn and I got a glimpse or two of a goldcrest but couldn't manage a shot. Then I spotted this blackbird deep in the hedge looking down on us through the sloes and haws. Lovely to see him, I haven't seen one for a while.
