Fabulous Exmoor

Both of us were tired after yesterday’s gardening so we headed over to Exmoor to make the most of the glorious sunshine. We took a detour via Cloutsham to see the red deer on the lower slopes of Dunkery - no rutting yet, the stags and hinds were all resting peacefully in the sun.
After lunch st Bossington we spent a few hours meandering down the lane towards the sea blackberrying. We just caught the last of the berries- another week and I think they will be all over.
Watched Michael Palin’s travelogue in North Korea but although it was fascinating, I can’t help feeling it was too lenient about such a despotic regime .
