Blip Friends

The blipfoto.com community is wonderfully supportive,. I've  learned a lot about photography from my fellow blippers, whether it be techniques, ideas or equipment.  But the biggest advantage is the friendship.  Today was a case in point.  It was lovely to meet suejay50 and her friend, in the DC area visiting family.  They were kind enough to let me drive them to the National Zoo, where we wandered around looking for subjects.  The weather wasn't ideal, and the animals seemed to agree, for many were in hiding, but it didn't matter.  It was fun to share the experience and get to know this friend  in person.  

Thank you to those who left comments, strs and hearts for yesterday's hummer.  They are such a joy to capture.  Hopefully I'll have another opportunity before the season is over.
