As you may recall, we put out a feeder for the birds some weeks ago and I did see some small birds at it - chickadees and juncos. Unfortunately, the jays have found it and they are wreaking havoc. They sit on the perch and smash it around until a sunflower seed falls into the feeder part... over and over. This one paused on the top of the umbrella long enough for me to get a quick snapshot. They are gorgeous looking birds but I can't put up with their aggressive habits...  We will have to get a different kind of seed.

Spent some time doing one of my least favorite things today - you guessed it, I went to the dentist for a regular teeth-cleaning. Because I enjoyed it so much, I am going back tomorrow to have a crown replaced (did I mention that it fell off partially a few days ago?). Anyway, it'll be 1.5 hours in the chair tomorrow and I'll leave with a temporary crown, to be replaced by a perm in 2 weeks.

I still have a root in that tooth and I really want to keep it but my luck usually does not come through in these situations. I have had so much dental work - I could write a book about it. It would have to be on the Horror shelf at the library.
