Orange glow

Returning TV programmes x 2 (one for me, one for him) to Lidl. Bought yesterday, they are this week’s which end today! Did exactly the same last week. Only 57p each, but matter of principle.

Naughty of them, but I should have spotted it after last week. (UPDATE: No problem. Service with a smile. “The man who usually does the papers is on holiday”. Exchanged for the current ones)

Then off to birthday lunch at the Larder House in Southbourne, just 5 of us. (UPDATE: 18:30 Just back. Walked home from the High Street via Cliff Top. Tracker watch shows 9.84km so far today).

Looking a bit dreary out, 17C, some sun due (UPDATE: been fabulous all day)

Been entering next year’s holiday dates in calendar. Friends (sisters) may visit from Czech Republic. Read this week Ryanair will be flying from Bournemouth to Prague next year. Haven’t seen them for years. M, who helped my late mum, is now happily married with 3 beautiful kids.
