Kinfauns

Another shot taken at 70 mph as we came home from Dundee this afternoon!  This is Kinfauns village and the Parish Church, just off the A90 between Perth and Dundee.

I'd been to Carnoustie this morning to have my hair cut and coloured and we headed to Broughty Ferry afterwards for a delicious lunch at the Glass Pavilion (see extra for beach shot).  Lovely and sunny, but chilly in the wind.  Then on to Dundee for a few bits and bobs, before heading home.

A dramatic start to our journey today as we joined the main road from Abernethy towards Perth.  We were wondering why all the traffic had stopped and was backed up all along the road in both directions, when all of a sudden a young black horse came trotting along the grass verge towards us and suddenly decided to change sides (the grass is always greener?)  Goodness knows where it had come from and it had no halter on so would be a devil to catch!  Just hope it was found safe and well and is now home again.
