Egg-sasperating

Woke up this morning to find this mess outside the front door.  

It seems we've been 'egged' in the night and I spent an unpleasant 45 minutes trying to clean the front door and the surrounds.

Not sure if we've been targeted specifically as I'd heard on the village community Facebook page that there have been recent reports of people throwing eggs from cars at people.  We live on the High Street so are an easy target for a 'drive-by' egging.

However, a few weeks ago I asked some youths, who were trying to vandalise the bus stop over the road, to please stop - and since then we've had some occasional late night door-knocking .  I'm very much hoping that last night's shenanigans is not an escalation of those youths anti-social behaviour.  Anyway have reported to the police.
