Maiden Castle - Dorset

So we were up and off early (for us) at about 9am to make the trip to Dorset... The traffic was awful!

Once we got to Dorchester we decided to have a break and stretch our legs with a walk around Maiden Castle. Imagine our surprise and my delight to find Pete doing a bit of fencing with his very smart looking Valtra tractor.

The extras are one of the residents and the South ramparts... the fence line gives a feeling for the scale of this amazing place.

This evening we went into Lyme Regis for a Fish and Chip supper and were well entertained by the Uplyme Morris Men.
