D left at some unearthly hour for what turns out to be his last week on the island. Much later on I took the car club car across to the East Neuk to visit T and I and attend the folk club. The guest was Colum Sands, who by some strange quirk of history I had never seen perform before - he was excellent, highly articulate, melodious and very funny.
