The view disappears...

Richard has been busy each day for a bit, stacking the wood for this winter....i do not enjoy this process, as the view disappears day by day...but i am grateful that we have him to work away at the huge pile of wood!

It has rained here not stop all day, chilly and pretty unpleasant.  so i've spent a bit of time in the studio, putting together a few platters i made yesterday, and reading my book!  A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara...what an intense, dense and poetically written book....sometimes it is hard to continue....there are some very bleak and troublesome scenes...but she has the ability to balance the bleakness with such sweet and tender moments that i am totally captivated....it's a thick book....720 pages....and i'm closing in on the last few chapters...and because it is also a major page turner, i'm trying to slow down my reading so it won't be over!!!  I'd highly recommend it, but with some warning that it deals with some very dark subjects!!!
