Viaduct over the Ogle Burn, Lochearnhead

The line for which this was built in the early part of the twentieth century operated for less than fifty years, closing on the 1st of October 1951. .

Yet despite that brief usage I always think how well it fits into the landscape whenever I go past, as I did today on my way from Edinburgh to Oban.
