Lowther castle.
Today we had an impromptu run out to what we have always known as and called "T'owld Yak" which now seems to be known as Jack's Yak to honour a recently retired Lowther forester. It is believed to be 400 years old. Oh, for those who don't "talk oor mak o'talk" Yak is Cumbria for Oak.
While Clickychick was taking shots of the tree itself I wandered round taking (as I do) random shots of trees, acorns, views etc. I have never found myself able to take umpteen shots of the same thing varying angles exposure etc. Of my shots I have decided on this one of Lowther Castle looking down from the road which over looks the castle.
