40 years later

Being rather douce and not at all wild, my musical tastes didn't go far from Simon and Garfunkel. My youngest sister however was the rebel Rod Stewart fan.

He sang 'First Cut is the Deepest' on Top of the Pops in 1977. Here I am spending the night at my parents', watching another (rather bigger) telly in the same place in the same room, and Rod's back, still singing 40 years later aged 73. He's aged better than you'd have thought possible in 1977.
