Beautiful sunny crisp morning so it was lovely to walk across the Meadows on my way to a haircut and then the train to Glasgow. Met up with VG for lunch and heard how the School of Art are coping with the aftermath of their awful fire as the new semester starts...sounds horrendous. Never quite enough time to feel fully caught up, but headed off to Board meeting and passed the burnt out Mack.....
Once home, a quick change before dinner at the museum. It turned out to be because the British Museum trustees were visiting and so rather fun to see Grayson Perry there (https://twitter.com/alan_measles/status/1045797375779000320?s=21 ) amongst others. Chatted to someone from Glasgow museums and also an interesting journalist and some people I haven’t seen since Oxford.
I really should have packed before now, but decided to leave it til the morning!
