Llama: Strike a Pose!

There is a llama farm not far from our house. Every time we go by, we admire the llamas. They look like transplanted strangers from a faraway country. Elegant dwellers in the cool highlands. But when a llama lies on its back on the ground and rolls in a very undignified manner, it very much resembles a rug!

Here is the truth of it: Once in a while, you just have to stop and look at the llamas. If you have a camera, even better. For the first minute or so, they all regarded me with curiosity. Then they went back to their eating.

I leaned over the fence for a closer shot and the above photo was my result. The llama in front seemed quite pleased to meet me:

"Oh, it's YOU, the GirlWithACamera! Nobody TOLD us you'd be here!"
"Well, hello there, llama." *grin*
*llama gives best llama smile*
