Relaxing

It was all so very stressful yesterday but it was so worth getting here! Delicious cooked breakfast (and we didn't need to worry about making it or dishes!), drove to the campsite and chose a nice site with room for Marianne when she manages to get here.
Then went off for a walk. It was very hot and we enjoyed the rest in the cool of a church before continuing on. Our only complaint was that really the vicarage should have been selling cups of homemade lemonade!!
Our walk was a classic 'don't know the area, hoping to happen upon a cafe, not going anywhere in particular and ending up nowhere'! We did find a caravan park that had the capacity to host a small cafe but they hadn't seen the light yet! However, there was a picnic bench that we could sit at and drink our 'warm' water, with a view of the lake. It was so peaceful! :) We managed to make our walk into a circular route. Being still too early for the pub to open, we sat in the green to wait. A cold cider and packet of crisps was welcomed when they did open. At that point we heard from Marianne, she was on her way.
Back at the campsite, we relaxed and waited for Marianne to arrive. Cathie had the bright idea of having one of the chocolates that I'd quickly dropped in the bag as we left the house (a present from one of my kids), to stave off the hunger pangs. We quickly found out that unwrapping them wasn't an option and that we just needed to suck the chocolate out! They were all completely liquid! Hahahaha!
Marianne arrived, we helped her set up and then the rest of the evening was relaxing around the fire.
Ahhhhh! :)

P.S. I liked that I didn't quite have time to sit down before the camera took the photo! Haha!
