A lovely Saturday

Didn't get much sleep last night but have had a lovely day, helped that the sun was out!  Met a friend in Southend this morning, did some shopping and had coffee.  Came home and went for a long walk, great to see this Red Admiral along the lane, also the ladybird and bee (extra).  Did take a photo of a group of swallows, too far away to make a good blip, nice to see them anyway.
Out tonight to "The Last Night of the Proms" at the church with a break for cheese and biscuits and wine.  Hope I stay awake!
