Zeppelinfeld

An excellent tour of Nuremburg ended at the Zepplinfeld where Hitler would deliver speeches to the assembled masses at the Nazi party rallies.

It was eerie going up there to the podium where he would have stood. The structure is now crumbling and there is a debate in Germany whether to pay to restore it or leave it and the other buildings constructed in Nuremberg by the Nazis to fall into ruin. Personally I think they should restore them to teach future generations about what took place here and the evils perpetuated, but then I don’t have to pay the €100 million!
