Isla Eve Arrives

This is Isla Eve Bargery, born on 11/11/12 (Remembrance Sunday) at 23:23, weighing 3440grams (7lbs 6ozs). After 12 hours of established labour Caz was taken to the delivery theatre where they used the forceps to assist with the final delivery. It was a truly amazing moment, something that I will never forget. Mother and baby are both doing well.

I have to say that the staff at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage were amazing. The Consultant Led Unit is a first class facility that we can both highly recommend.

Needless to say I didn't have the proper camera with me in hospital so this grainy shot, taken with an iPhone, is the best I could manage. However I'm sure wee Isla will feature quite a lot in future Blips through a decent lens!
