No 25 !!!!

Final block and the end of the first phase.

I need to square off all blocks to 12 1/2 ins. Some are on a slightly larger background which will trimmed down.

The next phase is cut out the strips for the sashing (the framing of each block), the batting (wadding) the central layer and then the backing material squares. Each block will be quilted and then joined up.

A challenge which will take months. The next session isn’t until the end of November, so everything is tidied away in the meanwhile.

I laid all of the blocks out on the spare bed to take a picture as a record of which block goes where. It may look a bit odd as they are lying on top of another quilt which can be seen round the edges. (In extras)

Ps how could I forget to add that I watched the last 4 episodes of the Bodyguard whilst sewing today........brilliant!!!!!
