The No. 7 Bus

On Doors Open day in Edinburgh you can catch a variety of vintage buses the normal routes through the city. Here's a 1949 135 Daimler CVG6 Metro-Cammell FSC 182 running the No. 7 service between Kaimes in the suburbs to the south and the historic port  village of Newhaven.

Sadly it's quite possible that in my early years I might have used this bus in its later years of active service so it was a nostalgic moment when we climbed aboard and took a seat on the top deck.
