Reflections
After a quick trip into Exeter for my husband to buy a shirt and tie we decided to make the most of the lovely weather and go out for a walk in the afternoon. We walked over Woodbury Common, see extra, taking in Bystock Ponds - the main blip, enjoying the warmth of the sun and the first signs of autumnal colour.
The papers are reporting that the terrapins that were often seen here have now been humanely removed as they were not a native species and there was concern over the effects on local wildlife including dragonflies that were found here.
