Prunus Incendium

Having now burnt the previous pile of prunings I seem to have created another one twice the size...  

Took out a couple of spindly trees-on-sticks both of which I know will happily re-sprout from the remaining trunk, thus actually contributing to the boundary hedge rather than shading it.
