Spiral

Mixed bag of service today, eating out twice.

First the Botanics, where the staff visited our table ten times before we all had something to eat and drink - the wrong soup, not enough soups, an extra coffee, dirty glasses... they did deduct 10% from the bill, but we had to ask to remove the spare coffee.

Then tonight at the Fishmarket at Newhaven. We did wait a while when we went in for drinks order and to get some food, but the service was great, and it didn’t feel too long. No complaints from us, but they gave us desserts and a round of drinks for free because they felt we’d waited too long. The fish was amazing too, as usual.
