wonky day

Things that went well today:

- amazing gingerbread cake at my friend’s charity coffee morning

- a fun chat swapping ideas with people who are way ahead of me in terms of eco friendliness

- Eve finishing her week at school joyfully

- time with both sisters

- delicious Thai food

Things that went wrong today:

- broken boiler at 5pm, just too late to get a plumber, so no hot water all weekend

- car miscommunication resulting in a hurried and long walk to pre-school with poor screaming Zeke who truly believed his legs weren’t long enough to make it and poor screaming Isaac, who was annoyed that I was making him wait for a feed due to aforementioned issue

- I dyed a lovely babygrow pink due to a rogue red top in the washer

- the microwave died
