Last day at Monterey

Sometimes, the artist you most wanted to see was not the performance you liked best. Charles Lloyd, shown in photo, and Nora Jones were the most anticipated artists on Sunday but both disappointed. Instead, what I liked best were Bokanté and the Anat Cohen Tenet. Both were large groups of young, energetic, and talented musicians who were thrilled to be on the Monterey stage for the first time.
