Preparing to give thanks

Cranberry sauce with oranges. I love cranberry sauce, but can't stand the canned variety. And, its so easy to make, hardly worth opening a can, and soooo much better! If you haven't tried making your own, you should. 1 package fresh cranberries, 1 cup water, and 1 cup sugar. Bring to a boil and simmer 10 minutes. Chill and devour! That's all there is to it. With this batch, I chopped up an orange and added to it after it was cooked. Adds a bit more flavor. And, there is never any left over!
