Shadows
A game of long shadows, but no goals.
Bradford City were hosting Bristol Rovers and were hoping to end a run of five consecutive League One defeats. It was a scrappy game, with neither side showing much quality or composure on the ball. There were chances though, with the woodwork being rattled on several occasions. Sean Scannell had a much better game and was at the heart of most of City's brighter moment and George Miller, a young loanee from Middlesbrough, was unlucky not to score on a couple of occasions. Goalless it remained though and at least that meant City managed a single point during September.
