My favourite dog

I admit, I'm resorting to a favoured model on a very photographically uninspired day.

Basil has been very patient with us since I collected him from kennels last Tuesday. He was very vocal at having been abandoned, apparently, for two weeks but was so pleased to be home. He'd lost weight noticeably and is making up for it by being voracious.

For various reasons, his daily walks have been a little intermittent since our return. I must begin to rectify that once I've posted this. Still nowhere near able to begin commenting on other blips yet. Apologies.

It has felt like the beginning of Autumn today.
