Hell Lane...

We've had a good Sunday, this morning we did a bit of local sightseeing until it was time for lunch. The George Inn is just up the road from our cottage and a great place to have a meal.

This afternoon we went for a walk along Hell Lane, one of the many 'Hollow Ways' many of which date back to the Iron Age. A great walk up over the hill behind Chideock that comes out behind Colmer's Hill, another chance for a photograph. Unlike yesterday there has been a heavy overcast so we saw the hill in a completely different mood.
