Doug

This is my friend Doug, who flew in early this morning (6:30 a.m.!) for a wedding in Sedona. He came to my place around 7, and we got breakfast at Matt's Big Breakfast. We wandered around downtown a little, but it was too hot for him, so we went back to my place and caught up until he had to get his rental car. It was good hanging out. We usually only see each other once a year at an amusement park.

It was around 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32C), which was a nice morning. It hit 102 today (38C) for our 128th day of 100-plus degrees this year. That's the third most on record. We average 103 days.

A tropical storm is approaching and will lower temperatures and bring rain. Today might be the last 100-degree day we have.
