Plums

My friend gave me a lot of plums yesterday so I made plum jam this afternoon. It’s our favourite and I hadn’t made it in a while so the anticipation is high! It set well so looks as if it’s been a success.
E and I went shopping this morning. I was returning a pair of shoes to a well known shoe shop . They were half patent leather and I really liked them but the leather had split in two places and I had only worn them twice. Disappointing as usually they are good shoes. I didn’t want a replacement so I changed them for a pair of ankle boots.
E is coming down with another cold, student life I suppose so wasn’t feeling her best but she did mange Sunday roast ! She goes back to Aberdeen in the morning. G very pleased that Europe won the Ryder Cup!
