A very British weekend

I went to the pub on Friday night (long time since that has happened!) 

Then yesterday we went to the doors open day event at Lothian Buses... we spent a whole afternoon in a bus depot!  If my dad was still around he would have been proud!  We had a ride through a bus wash (Dave was more excited than tiddlypom)  and we spent a large amount of time queuing so that Little un could sit and play in the drivers seat of a variety of buses and also a big army truck...  It was strangely, a really nice day out  and a complete throw back to being a kid and to visiting transport museums and steam train exhibits... We'll make a geek of her yet !

Then today we went conker hunting... Little un loved it and I totally haven't grown out of it yet... 

All in all  a pretty nice time ... :-)
