Meeting of Kindred Spirits....

..... Hibou and this young Pointer, both loving the walk up a peak called the Valerette. The dog was carrying its own food for the huts in a doggy backback! Maybe I need a dog to carry my camera! Those clouds in the background heralded the end of the Indian Summer we have been having.

This afternoon I met up with a wonderful friend who has lived in Australia for the past 30 years or so, in Leysin. She was one of the people who kept me afloat in a very difficult period of my life. David and I then had dinner with more friends in Leysin. This weekend has been lovely, and very social. Hope you have had a good one too.
