Rainy Run!

Not the best photo that I have ever taken but it certainly represents what I was seeing while out running at 0500 this morning.

I have signed up to run a 10k Notorious Night Run down in the borders in March next year. This morning I could quite easily have stayed in bed. I had a serious debate with myself at 0430 about the merits of running in the howling wind and rain but at the back of my mind I knew I would be going out. If I cannot handle a bit of November weather, how on earth I am going to endure running about a forrest in March in the pitch dark!! Nice wee run, done 6.5 miles at a pace of 9:06". Not my fastest time but quite pleased about braving the elements!
