Wind Southerly Gusting Force 8!

A nice bright morning has dawned, sunny but chilly with a very strong wind blowing in over the south coast cliffs from the sea,
The Southerly Force 8, termed a "Fresh Gale" under the Beaufort scale is defined as:
Moderately high waves with breaking crests forming spindrift. Well-marked streaks of foam are blown along wind direction. Considerable airborne spray.
Certainly nice and bracing walking the clifftop and Daisy/Casper really enjoyed it.
Mrs BR is on the mend and back at work today...her nasty cold seems to be beaten into submission, thank goodness.
My blip shows the waves breaking on the south coast but, because I was 300ft above the waves you don't see the full effect....next time I may trudge down to Petit Port as it is much more impressive when you are at wave height!
Hope your week is going well...it's Thursday...yay!
