Kleiner Harabruckteig

This afternoon we went to a friend's garden house which is by 2 lakes in the next town. This photo is of Kleiner Harabruckteich or small Harabruck lake. The light was lovely and the leaves are just starting to change. We had brilliant sunshine all day but it was quite chilly. Tomorrow will bring a change with some rain and cooler temperatures. Everyone is winter proofing and cutting back their gardens - we have had 2 frosts already this week. Our friend was working in her garden and I ended up with a big bag of cuttings and roots from iris, hydrangea, asters, aquilegia, lilies to name a few. Afterwards we went back to hers for coffee and cake and a glass of wine.
