Moeraki Bay

I picked my friend up from the airport in Christchurch yesterday afternoon - lapsed blipper Teacherlady.

We did some essential shopping (winter clothes for her, junk food for us), then headed south in my campervan.  We got as far as St Andrews before we felt we were ready to stop. 

Lots of chatting to catch up meant a late start this morning.  More shopping in Oamaru - cheese, shoes, clothes, and a major spend at the lolly factory.  Then a cruisy trip down to Moeraki.

Fleur's is closed on Mondays so we wandered down to the Moeraki Tavern (ignoring all the food we have in the van) and spent a couple of hours over quite a few whiskies/bourbons and some blue cod.

Back to the van to edit photos, and nibble on whitestone's Lindis Pass brie and crackers.
