BCAM - Day 1

Today, we concluded our church’s VBS, with great enthusiasm and deep gratitude for a successful event. The kids didn’t want to leave, which is always good to see.

I then met Martin at the Mui Wo ferry to head out to meet up with friends Mike and Sharon.  They had prepared a fabulous lunch which we thoroughly enjoyed and devoured. A compulsory walk was required after lunch and we headed out to the beach, through the buffalo paddocks and the camp grounds.

They had picked us up at the Pier and dropped us back which made the whole journey so much more pleasant. I do miss having a car!

We got home in time to see the China National Day fireworks and really enjoyed the fabulous display, on TV.
