Sloes
Our daughter and son-in-law visited for coffee during the morning, they had been for a walk and were passing on their way home. After lunch I once again cleared the utensils and various things out of the kitchen ready for the work to begin tomorrow. Other than that a lazy day with the added bonus of a Formula One race to watch.

Today’s picture is of some sloe berries, which can be picked to make sloe gin. They need a good frost on them before using, but these are by the roadside and are often picked by other people before they are ready. I do not plan to make slow gin this year, but have plenty in my garden if I change my mind.
